Buffalo part 1

Over the last couple of days I have been in Buffalo NY, on a mission trip to the inner city. So far it has been an amazing experience. We have been staying at the Buffalo Christian Center, which was an old mens club many years ago, its on the same building as the Forbes theater. The place is pretty neat there is an indoor basketball court, put-put course, and skating rink. We have been working in multiple environments some of us have been doing VBS for about 70 kids, others have been painting, and some have been building low income homes for people in the city. There are so many things that have been incredible experiences while I have been here. Over the next couple of posts I will share them with you. l will be posting some pics of my journey as well so stay tuned.

detour 500

We started our Detour 500 series, this week and it went great. We split everyone up into two teams blue versus orange. Every Wednesday night we have competitions between teams and we will total them up at the end of the month. Matt and I are the team captains for each team and here is our opening video for the series. It’s was filmed by Alex Chatfield with Innerfilm productions. Check it out!
